Class Summary

Comments on the Feb to Apr 2011 Buddhism Class

On April 25, 2011 we completed our first class series of 2011.  The study series was based on the study of selected verses from the Dhammapada.

The Venerable Thich Chuc Thanh provided us with his thorough understanding and insight into the teachings of the Buddha and how we translate them into practice in our daily life.  For me, the class discussions were an excellent addition to my individual study with Chuc Thanh which resulted in my formally seeking refuge in the Triple Gem in February.  My journey into the study and practice of the Buddha’s teachings is still in its infancy.

The Dhammapada class has ended!

The Dhammapada class ended on April 25, 2011. On behalf of Dong Hung temple I’d like to say thank you to those who joined the class. The twelve weeks class went through many topics on the Dhammapada sutra which gives us a chance to reflect ourselves and learn how to live happily in this life. Here are some comments from the students who participated in the class. I’ll update more comments when I receive them from other members.
