Dear Buddhist followers,

Calling New Year, Spring is coming naturally,

There is a Zen smell in our noses

A branch of Mai’s flowers and a bunch of bamboo are growing on the Path

There are no defilements in our minds

We Call The Spring Coming - Huyền Không

The New Year of the Dragon is coming soon. The whole world is welcoming the New Year. According to the Vietnamese tradition, Dong Hung Buddhist Temple in Virginia Beach will celebrate the New Year in the happy atmosphere of Matriya Buddha's Birthday.

We, at Dong Hung temple, would like to invite all of you to come back to the temple and join us for New Year’s Eve at 423 Davis street, Virginia Beach, VA 23462 at 7:00 PM on Sunday January 22, 2012 (the 29th day of lunar month). There will be many other ceremonies included within the agenda for the day. This year the festival entertainment on New Year’s Eve has a famous singer - Gia Huy - from California and local singers.
