Namo Amitabha Buddha,

Dear all Buddhist followers,

Amitabha Buddha who is the leader of Pure Land World was an ancient Buddha that was recognized by Shakya Muni Buddha’s reference.

His 48 vast vows were accomplished, which benefit all living beings

Pure Land’s tradition – reciting Amitabha Buddha’s name is one of mighty ways of practice and popular these day. It’s very special way of practice for Vietnamese and Chinese...

Each year, Pure Land’s practitioners choose November 17 in the lunar calendar to celebrate Amitabha’s merit teaching. We, Dong Hung Buddhist Temple in Virginia Beach, would like to host this event within solemn offerings which show our respect to Him.

We would like to invite all of you to come back to the temple to join us in one day’s practice from 9:00Am to 4:00PM on Sunday December 11, 2011. This event will be presided by The Most Venerable Thích Bửu Minh who presides at Van Hạnh Temple in North Carolina.
