Nammo Sakya Maini Buddha
Dear respected Sangha,
Dear all friends,
Peeking through the clouds of change the eyes of time look down upon us
and caress each of us with her gentleness.
Her subtle signs tell us all that a special New Year is beginning to unfold.
Each day will be unique and made just for you.
Something good will be added to your life as each day grows.
A wish for your New Year is beauty of many types with delightful surprises.
Many forms of love will bring you happiness all year!

All of us from Dong Hung Buddhist Temple will solemnly hold the New Year’s Eve ceremony and Tết holiday Feb 2nd to Feb 5th 2011 with Vietnamese Buddhist tradition. (See the agenda)
We will have the special Tất Niên party (January 30th) and the New Year’s Eve party at Dong Hung Temple (Feb 2nd) . Our entertainment theme this year is “Welcome the New Year” performed by local singers.
Aside from the main events on said date, from the 4th and the 8th days of the First lunar month, we will have daily chanting of the sutras to seek peace to all sentient beings and to make the suffering for the deceased go free. If you would like to forward merits to your family members, please send a list of the name of your family members to the temple. We will include them in our rituals at each chanting session
We cordially invite all of you to come to the Temple and celebrate with us. Best wishes to you and your family!
Sincerely,
Dong Hung Temple
