It’s our pleasure to cordially invite you to join the Buddha’s Birthday festival celebration. The event will be held on Sunday, May 23rd , 2010 at Philippine Cultural Center 4857 Baxter Rd. VA Beach, VA 23462 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
On the Buddha’s Birthday celebration festival, one of the highlights is the 
Buddha’s Bathing Ceremony, which commemorates the birth of Sakyamuni Buddha 2664 years ago. We hope the ceremony will bring you harmony and peace. We also invited The Thai Venerable Monks from Wat Pasantidhamma (Satipatthana Peace Center) for witnessing and blessing.
During the event, there will be dragon dances and entertainment performances. Furthermore, enjoy exquisite Vietnamese vegetarian food.
We look forward to seeing you and your family and friends at the Buddha’s Birthday Festival on May 23rd 2010!

5.30 PM: Opening ceremony/ Dragon dances
5.45 PM – 6.00PM Speakers (Vietnamese/English/Thai monks)
6.00 PM: Chanting (Thai and Vietnamese monks)
6.15 PM: Buddha’s bathing ceremony
6.30 PM – 10.30 PM: Entertainment performances. (Vietnamese music/ American music and Thai dances)
