Dear Friends,

As the syllabus indicates, there will be a 24-hr retreat at mid-semester.  The retreat, which is hosted by the Buddhist Education Center in Pungo, will begin on Saturday morning, July 18th, and conclude the following morning.  This is free to all who are attending the course.  There is a suggested donation of $10 for additional guests and others not attending the course.  Directions to the Center are available online at http://www.buddhistedu.org/en/.  You can also register on the website. 

If you are planning to attend the retreat, we encourage you to register at your earliest convenience, as this will help us greatly in our preparations.

Detailed information about the retreat will be distributed in class next week and posted online.
