Despite some rain and clouds, many people were able to attend our Dharma Talk & Brunch this month. It was a particularly special brunch because we were honoring our volunteers from the Lotus Cultural Fest. The theme for our discussion was Generosity’s Perfection. This is a wonderful article about the importance of generosity. This isn’t what we ordinarily think of as generosity, but the generosity of our spirit, our time, and of our mind. If you did not attend the brunch, please read this article. I guarantee you will understand the concept of generosity in a different light!

We also shared our appreciation for each other for all the teamwork during the Lotus Cultural Fest. We all agreed that we practiced generosity that day. We were generous with our patience and our support for each other. Despite the fact it was the first Fest ever, we managed to have a successful event and kept smiles on everyone’s faces.

After our Dharma Talk we shared a delicious Phở brunch made by Su co Chuc Tri. Many people brought dessert and fruit.  We all had a great time and I hope our volunteers understand how appreciated they really are!
