The Fifth Great Compassion Festival
Dear all Buddhist Followers,
Compassion Bodhisattva is considered to be a loving-kindness mother of all beings. She always listens to the crying of all and finds ways to help those who have an affiliation with her.
Within this suffering life, we all have at least one time to face challenging situations that we asked for help! She is a symbol of compassion and wisdom. One of the reflecting methods to calm us down we learn from the Bodhisattva is practicing the ability to listen to our own crying for desires.
In order to show our deep respect to Compassion Bodhisattva and encourage people to find the energy of help and comfort within themselves through the Compassion Bodhisattva, ĐôngHưng Temple will host the fifth anniversary of the Great Compassion festival on October 28 and 29, 2017 at the temple ground. The event will be presided by the most Ven. ThíchBửu Minh (N.C), the most venerable ThíchcTríHoằng (T.X), Ven. ThíchTâmKhanh (N.C), Ven. ThíchPhápHoà (Canada), and the local venerable monks and nuns.
The festival is a chance for the inter-meeting of the English speaking and Vietnamese speaking communities. There will be Dhamma talks in English by the most Ven. ThíchTríHoằng, and Vietnamese by Ven. ThíchPhápHoà.
On behalf of ĐôngHưng Temple, we would like to invite all of you to join us in this event. This is an opportunity to enhance your practice and send good merits to all beings and the world peace!
