Monday Night Topic to Further Analyze part 1

We had a very interesting class this past Monday, December 19, 2011. There were a lot of good questions about the seven factors of awakening, which has been our weekly topic since moving to the new location. Almost every question was answered but, as always, we ran out of time to explore our monkey minds.

However there was one set of questions in particular that was left unanswered. The questioning was, "How do we know our actions really matter? Is everything determined by our past karma? How do we create karma, and do we have any real control over our future actions? Are some things supposed to happen no matter what?"

If you have realized the answers to any of these questions in your practice, please feel free to write down your thoughts and bring them to class next Monday December 26, 2011. Yes, we are aware it is the day after Christmas, but we will still be having chanting, meditation and dharma talks Monday December 26.

Thank you
