Charitable and Humanitarian Projects
“Serving Sentient Beings for a good cause in a Dharma way is offering to the Buddha.” Buddha has taught us to always have compassion and love for others, especially the less fortunate, the poor, the indigents. Nowhere better to serve than in our old country, Viet Nam, where there is tremendous poverty in certain under served areas.
Our charitable projects included:
-
scholarship funding to poor and needy children
-
regular distribution of rice and food supply to the indigents in the vicinity of the temple
-
humanitarian trips to provide necessary supply in areas struck by catastrophic disasters and natural calamities
